The purpose of this project was to design a web site that highlighted a specific product. I chose an iPhone application I found interesting and incorporated some of its design elements into the web site design. This web site includes a photo gallery with a lightbox implementation.
The purpose of this project was to create a promotional piece for a web site called Fountainhead. Fountainhead was to be an online social community dedicated to various graphic arts. The concept behind this piece was to show how the creative process transforms from an idea to a finished piece of work.

The purpose of this project was to capture the lines and curves of the world around us. This is a picture of a bench at the San Francisco International Airport. Photo manipulation was used to increase the contrast between the top of the bench and the carpet below to further emphasize its curve.
The purpose of this project was to create a series of photographs to capture the silence and light of a park at night. A tripod and a long exposure time were used to capture the shadows and details without blurring.
The purpose of this project was to design a four page magazine spread for a Best of the Bay article. I wanted to create something warm and fun. Original watercolor illustrations were used to illustrate the article.
The purpose of this project was to re-brand a local restaurant by creating a new logo and stationary. The restaurant was unique in that it not only offered food but also had a small wine shop attached to it. I wanted to create a logo design that would effectively combine the two facets of their business in a memorable manner.
The purpose of this project was to take an existing magazine cover and redesign it. I chose Discover magazine because I felt that the current design didn’t truly reflect the magazine’s tag line of “Science, Technology and the Future.” Part of the challenge was designing a new logotype that would reflect the tag line as well as creating a new illustration to match the magazine’s main story. Fonts used in this design include, Helvetica Neue, Gotham and Insignia.
